The railways / cable cars

From the hotel you just walk 10 - 15 minutes to the Zugspitz Train station.

The cog wheel train brings you either to the glacier, then further to the peak by cable car or to Garmisch - Partenkirchen to the Classic area with Hausberg-, Kreuzeck- and Alpspitzbahn.

Free ski busses run between Grainau and Hausberg between the christmas holidays and "Fasching".

The "Ski Express" by "Deutsche Bahn" brings you in some austrian ski areas for free by showing your guest card.

Grainau is like a fairy tail dream in winter. Just visit the Grainauer or Garmischer christmas market.

Beside that is Grainau the perfect location for a lot of daily trips.

You´re reaching Garmisch - Partenkirchen after 15 minutes by car.

To Innsbruck or to Castle Neuschwanstein it´s just 60 minutes.
